Whether it be a simple graveside burial or a full celebration of life service, my role is to honour your loved one by creating and facilitating a ceremony that truly reflects them.
I will hold a safe space for you and your community as you grieve the loss of your loved one and celebrate their life and their legacy. I'll bring the calm in a time that can feel chaotic.
This is why I am an independent funeral celebrant. I am not affiliated with any particular funeral director or funeral business - I want you to hire me because you trust that I am the right celebrant for you.

I have deep respect and love for the funeral industry in Tasmania, and have had opportunities to work with some wonderful funeral directors on the North and North West Coast.

Community Memorial Celebration
$1100 plus travel.
Let's celebrate their life in the place and with the people that made them feel most alive.
Holding a Community Memorial Celebration can be a separate or an alternative option from a traditional funeral service.
A Community Memorial Celebration is an opportunity to creatively commemorate a person's life, to reflect on their legacy, and recognise how their memory will live on.
It is a time where everyone who loved this person, including their chosen family and wider community, can gather to reflect and grieve together.
It also does not necessarily need to be organised in a short time frame like a typical funeral might need to be. You can choose when the time is right - whether it be soon after you loved one passed, or later down the track when you are emotionally ready.
I will meet with you, learn about you loved one, listen to your ideas and offer some of my own if needed. There is complete creative freedom here. I will then work with you to create a memorial service that beautifully reflects your loved one and the community that they were part of.
For those who want to speak, I can help them find the words to say what they want to say, if needed.
On the day, I will travel to your chosen ceremony location and officiate the ceremony.
I can provide my portable mic and speaker system, so you don't have to worry about that kind of thing. I can also assist with playing your chosen music.
Writing the Eulogy
$490.
When you are navigating the loss of someone you love, and organising all the practicalities that comes with it, finding the right words and putting together the eulogy can be overwhelming.
I can help you write this, taking you through my simple questionnaire. I can send this to you via email to fill out, or we can go through it together over the phone or via Teams. Using the information you have provided, I will write a eulogy that encapsulates the life of your loved one and have every detail that you want included. You can then use what I have written to share at the formal funeral service. I can also have this printed beautifully and mailed to you as a keepsake if you wish.
I can provide this service in a fairly quick turnaround, as I understand the time pressures that a traditional funeral can bring. If you would like this stand-alone service, please email me directly:
